Having performed at over

the MC, Dave will direct and coordinate every aspect of your wedding
ceremony and reception from guest arrival to the last dance and
farewells. Introductions, special activities, requests, and announcements
are handled with the highest degree of perfection and attention
to detail that only a former radio disc jockey can provide. This
includes coordination of all activities with the banquet manager
and photographers. You will be provided convenient wedding ceremony
and reception templates that will easily guide you through every
aspect of your wedding program including ceremony, reception and
music. 
Dave
Salonia Productions uses only state-of-the-art professional sound
equipment. The sound system and volume levels are tailored to the
size of the room and number of guests. A complete backup system
is brought to your event to insure that your program will continue
with no glitches or interruptions. Wireless speaker systems
Any
professional DJ needs to consider emergency backups in case something
unexpected happens. Dave Salonia promises to bring a complete sound
system (not just a spare speaker or amp) to your event so that your
program will not be interrupted by “technical difficulties”.
In the unlikely event of accident or illness, Dave Salonia Productions
is backed by an emergency team of professional disc jockeys through
the American Disc Jockey Association (ADJA). 
Many
of our clients are getting married for the first time and aren’t
sure of all the formalities and details that go into planning a
flawless wedding ceremony and reception. Therefore we provide, in
addition to the initial meeting, a face-to-face final review with
Dave. At the final review, we will go over all the necessary details
to ensure that your wedding will be fun, memorable, classy and most

available to answer your questions via email or telephone.

Architectural
Lighting: Architectural lighting has become a very popular
option for those who want to “personalize” their banquet
room with washes of color that extend from floor to ceiling. Our
architectural lighting modules are strategically placed in various
locations in the room. They can be programmed to gradually change
from one color to the next or kept at specific color(s) to coordinate
with your linens and wedding attire. 
Props
Package: To enhance the party, props are available which
are handed out during various portions of the evening. Props include
Hawaiian leis, hats, tambourines, maracas, blow-up instruments,
and Blues Brothers sunglasses. A props add-on would be neon necklaces
and bracelets.
What
would a wedding reception be without great music? Dave Salonia Productions
will help you choose the music that’s just right for you and
your guests. We are experts at reading the crowd, knowing what to
play and, more importantly, when to play it! This skill takes years
of experience to master. Our music collection is completely digital
and features CD quality sound – not compressed downloads.
This means that you will enjoy hearing all the dynamics of the original
recording, just like it sounded when it was first recorded in the
studio. Combine this with a studio-quality mixing board, an awesome,
biamplified speaker system with sub-bass woofers and full range
top speakers to give you crystal clear sound quality that rivals
a live concert! It also means that we can bring more content to
your wedding – 50,000 songs worth – so spontaneous requests
can be handled if and when the need arises. The end result? Your
guests will be dancing from start to finish!

In
addition to his many years of radio, nightclub, and mobile experience,
Dave graduated from CCSU and the Connecticut School of Broadcasting.
He is an active member of the American Disc Jockey Association (ADJA)
and abides by their high standards of conduct and professionalism
for mobile disc jockeys (see separate article). Dave attends DJ
Conventions regularly to stay abreast of current technology and
DJ techniques. Dave Salonia Productions is fully insured for $1MM
of liability through the American Disc Jockey Association’s
insurance broker, R.V. Nuccio & Co., which is now required by
many banquet facilities. Finally, Dave’s professionalism is
attested to by the many cards and letters received by his delighted
clients.
